Rooted in the national motto, "Unity in Diversity," Mimpi celebrates the country's vast landscapes, vibrant traditions, and intricate artistry, offering travelers a deeply authentic and personal journey.

CONCEPT

To embody Mimpi’s mission of celebrating Indonesia’s diversity and creating unforgettable journeys, we designed a brand identity that reflects the soul of the country. At Desa Studio, every design begins with purpose. For Mimpi, this meant crafting a visual identity that resonates with their values of unity, authenticity, and discovery.

Inspired by Indonesia’s national motto, "Unity in Diversity," and the intricate Sekar Jagad batik motif—a traditional pattern that blends diverse elements into a harmonious design—we created a logo and brand identity that celebrates Indonesia’s vast cultural and natural richness.

For Mimpi, we crafted a cohesive brand identity featuring a primary logo with traditional Indonesian motifs, secondary logos and patterns inspired by the dreamlike Mega Mendung motif, and a natural color palette blending authenticity with luxury. Refined typography complements the visual elements, while travel books in four languages, including a kids’ edition, provide an immersive and luxurious exploration of Indonesia.

MEANING BEHIND THE LOGO

The Mimpi logo reflects this philosophy. Inspired by Indonesia’s national motto, “Unity in Diversity,” and the traditional Sekar Jagad batik motif—a pattern that beautifully combines various Indonesian motifs into one harmonious canvas representing the diversity of the country—the logo captures the essence of Indonesia’s cultural richness.We thoughtfully integrated different Indonesian motifs, each carrying unique cultural significance, into a single, cohesive design. This interconnected symbol reflects Mimpi’s mission: to celebrate Indonesia’s diversity while crafting unforgettable travel experiences.
